For the past few years, the eSports market has grown exponentially, and more and more colleges are adapting to include their own eSports programs. Here at Parkland High School, we see the importance of offering students the most diverse learning experience we can provide. Whether that be a sport or a club, enriching students' minds is our top priority.

Parkland eSports is set to accomplish all of the school's goals, and more. The opportunities provided by the club, and hopefully one day a varsity sport, are bountiful. Giving students' a space to be themselves and make new friends, a chance to compete in interschool tournaments, and the possibility to even earn scholarships is in our future.

MORE ABOUT US

More than just an after-school club, Parkland eSports is a community of passionate gamers and eSports fans. What began as an idea started by a single student, Parkland eSports has blossomed into a collective of dedicated and proud students.

Kicked off by Parkland 2021 alumni Thomas Harrison, Parkland eSports' progress was stagnant in its first months due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, during the 2021-2022 school year, the club was revived through the efforts of more enthusiastic students.

Absolutely! However, the market for different games is quite unpredictable, and it is impossible to know which games will be popular with players. New games that are released will be on our radar.

The types of content that will be posted varies from platform to platform. On Instagram, pictures and briefs highlights will be posted. On Twitter, updates, photos, and longer videos will be posted.
